Kudos on your article. It is very interesting! There is just one aspect I need clarifying: do we have to run the events (clicks, etc.) outside of angular in order to benefit from local CD? This is suggested by the code from the GrandchildYComponent.

Now that we have the experimental zoneless change detection (will be stable in the future versions) and in the future signal-based change detection as the default behavior, and if you use the signals with OnPush you will benefit from this locality…
